Boosie Wants Rehab Instead Of Prison Sentence

Louisana native Lil Boosie, real name Torrence Hatch feels he should be subjected to rehab instead of a prison term.

Lil Boosie has a had a fair amount of trouble with the law in the past few months. Since he was arrested and convicted for his third offense for possession of marijuana he then violated his house arrest and was ordered to serve a two year prison term.

Boosie Bad Azz feels he is being so harshly judged because of his rap alter ego and on who he really is, Torrence Hatch.

“If I made a mistake with marijuana, why am I not eligible for rehab?” Boosie questioned. “I’ve been on marijuana since a teenager. I need some rehab. Jail is not rehab.”

“They’re treating me on who they think I am. They judging me on Boosie Bad Azz, not Torrence Hatch,” Boosie stated to Louisiana’s WAFB Channel 9 before starting his sentence. “I had to do these two shows these last two days to feed my family.”

Lil Boosie is currently in custody at Winn Correctional Center in Louisiana, serving his term. Once he is released he will also have to complete five years of probation.
